Dual-Use Innovations & Applications in Operational Environments to Advance Multi-Domain Capabilities
As civil and military challenges increasingly overlap, the ability to apply emerging technologies in real-world environments is critical. This session will highlight how DronePort Rotterdam, industry innovators, defense experts, and public stakeholders are integrating systems such as AI, autonomous platforms, and secure data tools into operational settings to enable multi-domain operations and strengthen critical infrastructure. In this edition we aim to share our commitment to operational innovation and dual-use collaboration.
Hear from NATO C2COE and leading companies in dual-use innovation about how emerging tech, such as autonomous systems, AI, advanced sensing, and secure data platforms, are used in practice to improve civil infrastructure and military readiness. Learn how these technologies affect decision-making, resilience, and multi-domain effectiveness.
Engage directly with industry leaders, decision-makers, innovators, defense stakeholders, and other potential collaborators, in a focused, professional environment. DronePort Connects facilitates matchmaking to build partnerships, test ideas, and develop dual-use applications that solve real operational challenges.
Learn about our Innovation Ecosystem, Center of Excellence and Test & Experience Center. We’ll cover ongoing pilot projects, dual-use technology trials, and new partnerships linking strategy to practical deployment across domains.
Participate in moderated and focused discussions, exchange practical insights, and discuss relevant experiences. In this setting, you will directly engage with peers, experts, and end users on strategic challenges in dual-use innovation.
Each edition highlights a specific strategic theme, ranging from the role and development of AUS in national security and port resilience, to strategic and digital autonomy and emerging national or European regulations, so that attendees can keep up with critical industry changes, connect with the right collaborators, and make tangible progress on AUS applications in operational environments in the Netherlands, across Europe, and beyond.
DronePort Connects is primarily for our partners and invited guests. If you’d like more information about attending or partnership opportunities, contact us here. We’d be happy to explore how you can engage with DronePort Connects and our growing Innovation Ecosystem for autonomous and uncrewed systems.
